Reasonable Price outdated facilities

Our stay st the Maxim was without incident. The Hotel is dated and the rooms were, as they said in Fodors, drab. What makes this hotel worth it were the price of the room and its location on the sea shore. There are plenty of restaurants directly in the area. The beach is great and the hotel is within walking distance of just about everything. What is really exceptional at this hotel is the staff! While the hotel itself may be drab, the hotel staff, and specifically Said, were excellent in the services they provided! Helpful, friendly, professional..... Others in out party were at a much more expensive hotel, but we were treated much better by "our" staff the they were by theirs... Kudo's for the Maxim on this front. Paul
