Great hotel, great locations

Harmony Hotel opened in May 2008 and is so new that the lobby, restaurants, and shops are not yet open. The rooms are nicely appointed and well-designed, although my 81 year old mother didn't like the color combos. The beds are extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet is extensive and a 5:00-7:00 pm buffet with sandwiches, fruit, cookies, beverages, and wine was most welcome after hot days exploring the city. The desk staff members, especially Lilach, were extremely helpful. Location is terrific, only a 10-15 minute walk to the Old City and situated in a neighborhood with lots of shopping and restaurants. Parking is a pain -- the hotel has an arrangement with a parking lot on Shammai Street, a street under repair during our stay. Parking was expensive and the lot attendants are grumpy and don't speak English. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to family and friends.
