Stay at Maxim Hotel

The best thing about the hotel is its location. Unbeatable! My single room very tiny, I was expecting something slightly bigger. It was at the back of the building, so had no view. The room came with breakfast which is was not that great for me - someone who is a vegan (vegetarians who do not consume any animal products). I was left with bread, jelly, hummus and babaganoush. Would have been nice if they had some falafel, tabouleh, maybe potato cutlets added to the list. The breakfast does not change. Same everyday. However, for those who are no vegetarians, the display of food is ample. They also have coffee and cake between 5 and 6pm, but who is ever at the hotel at time??? On the whole, the hotel is agreeable as a budget hotel. Nothing fancy there. If you are single, want to have fun in TLV, this place will do. They have a "no guest in the room" policy. They don't allow any guests in the rooms which I think is a little bizarre. My friend had to sit in the lobby each time while I went to the room to fetch things.
This review is the subjective opinion of the
hotel's guest and not of inisrael.com
