The hotel is directly opposite the Underwater Marine Observatory and this was the first thing we visited after our arrival. It is definitely worth seeing. There is a free bus transport into the city center, but we only used taxis which are abundant and cheap and you don't have to stand in the heat waiting. The hotel is nice, the rooms (little huts) are small but ok. The pool area is very nice. Sitting there in the evening having a drink was a real treat. The bar was good, and the bartender was skilled and a nice guy. But... Knowing breakfast buffets in Israeli hotels we have been disappointed from this one. Not the big choice and hardly any service. Especially the coffee (when we managed to call a waiter's attention) was awful and a cup of cappuccino or cafe latte was to be ordered at the bar for extra charge. I would say this place is good 4-star standard. After all - as we had the luck of a rather moderate room rate - we would definitely come back for the same price. But when I see that at some times in the year they charge for the same rooms almost rates like the best 5-star hotels (like for instance the fantastic Isrotel Royal Beach), then there is definitely something wrong here.
