This is a great family or singles hotel - excellent value for the money (at least during the winter). We stayed there twice with teenagers and cannot be happier, this hotel compares very favorably with other 5-star properties in Eilat. The service is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are great, we particularly loved the attics designed as children's quarters. The food is also great. There are things to do around the hotel - like table tennis, great pool etc. I also like the location of the hotel - right accross from the Aquarium, and away from the noisy city life. Then again, if you want more night life, this hotel may not be for you - as you will need a car (or a taxi) to go into town at night. On a negative side - the jaccuzzi was luke-warm the first day, and really cold the second day; and the steamroom was not working. The beach is a short walk from the hotel - didn't bother us, but could potentially bother some senior guests. Also the bikes that are offered at the hotel are not in a good condition.
