No high rise, thank god! Beautifully landscaped and built on a rocky escarpment across the (not very busy road) from the beaches. Stunning views over the Red Sea from your private, beautiful and spacious bungalow. Lots of privacy and relaxed, easy-going atmosphere. Friendly, young staff. Good and sumptuous breakfast and dinner buffet. One can walk to 2 beaches, the hotel beach which is free but small, cramped and over-crowded! Nice underwater life there but corals have been badly damaged by incautious vacationers that constantly trample on the fragile ocean floor. A sorry picture! However, the Coral Beach National Park is the same distance away in the other direction. There you have to pay a fee, but the beach is a thousand times better, bigger and much, much less crowded! The corals there are protected and well looked after, therefore one can see a well preserved coral reef with heaps of marine live in every color and size.
