Sun Aviv is ok. Not very good, but good enough to stay. It's a bit old and not very carefully maintained. The bed, the room, the bathroom are comfortable. But the room and corridor smell like cigarette. The carpet has dirty stain. You can't use the bathtub in some rooms because if you do so it might cause a flood in the reception. The fridge doesn't work and is really tiny. They have a good continental breakfast. The staff is generally nice and speak English. The location is really good. If you have the energy it's walking distance to almost every sights in Tel Aviv. There is a supermarket and a drugstore across the street, which can be handy. If you book through a booking site, pay attention to the rate. I booked through but when I got to the hotel, they tried to charge me a more expensive rate. I don't think they do it on purpose, but anyway, just be aware. Ask for a big room, as there are some really tiny ones. Also, if you can, ask for a room in the back, because there's a construction site across the street and it can be noisy early in the morning.
