Wi-Fi Charges Left Bad Impression
Posted by Kenneth
I have visited Ginnosar before, and appreciate its location and amenities. The Ancient Boat Exhibit is a very nice addition to the area. However, during my visit, the hotel was charging eight dollars an hour for wi-fi, and an even higher per hour rate if you just used a quarter hour. For a person on holiday trying to keep up with business or personal messages, that rate is awfully high. It was worth it for me to drive in to Tiberias, dine there rather at the kibbutz, and post at an Internet Cafe at a lower rate. And where I am staying now, wi-fi is free, as it is in most places in the USA and at the hotel I stayed at in Jerusalem. The wi-fi charges are an unpleasant surprise for American visitors used to the convenience of logging in whenever they have the chance. Otherwise, Ginnosar is a pleasant place to visit, clean, very nice for groups and families, especially.
