did not honor price

My husband and I stayed there 1 night and they would not honor the price that was promised to us when we reserved the room. After a long day of flying from the UNited States, we were tired and anxious to get to our room and relax. The location was great, but when we began to check in we had problems. We had the print out showing the price from insrael.com and they still charged us about $40 more, down from $60 addition they tried to charge us. They were argumentative about it and insistant upon us paying the extra 2008 rate. I would expect that if the customer has a writtten document showing the price agreed upon, the hotel would honor it- not this hotel. While they did discount the price, it was not good enough.

due to ownership changes the rate you had was from last year and not updated....you came in the peak season of august for 1 night ... when the min. is usually 7 nights. we respected your booking but the rate was not valid.
